More and more women are embracing entrepreneurship as a lifestyle and She Takes On The World aims to support and inspire women entrepreneurs. Natalie MacNeil is a media producer and consultant, specializing in online media and marketing. She is an entrepreneur, award winning blogger, and speaker. In addition to running She Takes On The World, Natalie has developed an impressive portfolio of online and interactive media projects. She is currently developing Garage Entrepreneurs, a community for young entrepreneurs. Helping entrepreneurs is one of her great passions. She frequently delivers speeches and seminars on business and entrepreneurship.

Prior to developing new media projects and working with entrepreneurs, Natalie ran a customer service auditing business. She also had the unique experience of being an Ambassador to Canada. Throughout her travels, Natalie worked with global organizations, participated in several charitable events and attended political meetings. She has traveled to more than 50 countries and has built a globe-spanning network in the process.

Natalie is committed to giving back to the community, both locally and internationally. Her philanthropic activities are focused on three pillars: entrepreneurship, education, and empowerment. She volunteers with several organizations, including the Waterloo Region Business Education Partnership, Junior Achievement, the Ontario Small Business Centers, and the government-funded Summer Company program.

Natalie graduated with an honors degree in Business and Political Science from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada where she currently resides.

Kristin’s background in fashion started when she worked as a fashion model in the early 2000’s. She worked with various photographers, make up artists and stylists. A few years later, she left the industry to finish a bachelor’s degree in Literature, followed by a master’s degree in business. Kristin’s marketing journey began when she was the head of marketing for a law firm. After approximately a year, she had enough of office politics and took the risk of starting her first company Marquet Communications, now Marquet Media LLC. Her clientele expanded rapidly, and the company evolved into a boutique firm that specializes in online branding and public relations for the fashion, beauty, and accessory industries.

Kristin is the author of the book, Her Little Ways: The Women’s Inspirational Guide to Life written exclusively for Beauties on the Go. She is also a business columnist and has written for various print and online publications such as Enterprising Women, Everyday Women, Small Business CEO, Women on Business and Beauties on the Go.

Making her way into the fashion editorial world, she has also written for CoutureintheCity.com, Stylecaster.com, and her work has been featured on theInsider.com, Google News, Yahoo News, PRCouture.com, and Web Week Magazine. She will be attending Harvard Business School in Fall 2010.

Chantielle MacFarlane is an online marketing consultant, specializing in content creation and search engine optimization. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, Chantielle is dedicated to providing small businesses and entrepreneurs with effective and affordable online marketing tools. She especially enjoys helping small business owners integrate their offline marketing efforts with online initiatives in order to present a cohesive promotional platform.

Prior to embarking on her marketing career, Chantielle was a national level competitive figure skater. During this time, she had the opportunity to train with some of the world’s best, including 1996 World Champion, Todd Eldredge, and 2006 Olympic Champion Shizuka Arakawa. Today, Chantielle continues to stay involved with skating by volunteering at her local club.
